our christmas "tree"

After flipping through the pages of the latest CB2 Holiday catalog & being inspired by their alternative Christmas trees, I decided that my husband & I would skip the needles, sap, & expense - and would design a "tree" of our own.

So we took a ladder:

Edited my array of glittery ornaments (when it comes to holiday decorations, I'm a glutton for kitsch):

And made a ladder Christmas tree!

I couldn't be happier!  Now we just need to wrap some gifts & put them on the steps of the ladder.
