sunday fun day.

Living in 2 different states, Bonnie and I make the most of our monthly gatherings.

This January we kicked off our Sunday meeting on the 30th of January thanking our Fall intern Kristen for her hard work.  We treated Kristen to a delicious brunch at Farmicia in Old City Philadelphia where Bonnie introduced Kristen & me to our first grits experience - very tasty!

In appreciation for her devotion we gave Kristen a little something-something from Smak Parlour, a fantastic local Old City boutique run by 2 designers - girls after our own hearts.

We then took a stroll through Society Hill to Fabric Row on 4th Street.  There at Fleishman Fabrics & Supplies we met a wonderful and hillarious pair, Glen and Debbie, who assisted us with purchasing yards of fabric for upcoming projects.

We ended our day with a fantastic photo shoot with my talented photographer friend Natalie Parker.  Natalie spent the afternoon documenting me and Bonnie at work in our Philadelphia studio.

After the screens were cleaned, the fabric iron, & the orders processed, we called it a day.  Sunday fun day, indeed.

~ Susie.
