On my way home from a brief trip to Virginia, I stopped in DC for the afternoon. With so much to see I decided not to make specific plans,
park my car, and wander.
I quickly found myself strolling through the halls of the Smithsonian.
Here's a selection of some of my favorites pieces.
From L to R: Portrait of Mojna by Mikalene Thomas, Merce C by Franz Kline, Annie Liebovitz: Pilgramage, and Sky Cathedral by Louise Nevelson
An afternoon wasn't nearly enough time, but it was well worth it.
'til next time DC...
